Salmon Lake
Salmon lake was built in the 1960’s by Floyd Salmon as a way to water his cattle. Through his 3 daughters and their friends, it quickly caught on that this cool, refreshing, spring fed lake was the place to spend the Texas summer days!
We want everyone to have a good time at Salmon Lake Park. Here are a few guidelines to help insure everyone can their time here.
Swim at your own risk: No Lifeguard on Duty
NO GLASS OF ANY KIND in or around the lake
Bottom and depth are natural and unpredictable
No Fishing: unfortunately hooks and bare feet don’t mix well! Not to mention, we remove the fish every year to stock the frog pond where we allow catch and release fishing
